Corrections Policy

If we make a mistake in a SINephile review or article, here's what happens — and how we commit to getting it right.

When We Get It Wrong

Criticism is subjective. But facts are not.

If a SINephile review or post contains a factual error — whether it’s a misattributed quote, incorrect date, or production detail — we’ll correct it promptly and transparently.

Our Approach

  • Minor Edits (typos, phrasing tweaks) may be updated silently.

  • Substantive Corrections (errors of fact or mischaracterization) will be updated with a brief note at the bottom of the piece attributing the nature of the change and date it was made.

  • We do not unpublish reviews unless they violate our ethics or platform standards.

  • We do not retroactively change opinions based on pressure, trends, or personal requests.

How to Report an Error

SINephile aims for rigorous standards, but we’re not above owning our mistakes. That’s part of what earns trust — and hopefully, your continued readership.
